Looking to find out who owes what?
Our software only tracks the unit’s total balance.
The app/portal doesn’t show your individual balance, but here’s how to find it:
Simplest method:
1) EMAIL US USING THIS LINK for a simplified PDF ledger.
2) Open the ledger we send you, and search your last name.
(to search, press Ctrl+F on PC, or ⌘+F on Mac)
You should see your payments highlighted.
3) Add up all your payments (& record them using this spreadsheet):
4) Find out how much you should’ve paid: include all rent and the security deposit.
Add your share of parking or water bills (if applicable).
5) Subtract your payment total from how much you should’ve paid.
That’s your balance.
If the answer is a positive number, please pay that amount.
If the result is negative, you over-paid. Here’s how to get your money back:
If you’re still renting from us, that money will automatically go towards next month’s charges.
If you’re leaving, tell the person getting the deposit check they need to add that amount to your deposit return.
You may have paid someone else’s balance.
Repeat steps 2 - 5 with roommates’ last names to find out how much they owe.
Alternate method (no need to wait for our pdf):
1) Sign in on a computer
2) In the “Payments” tab, find one of your payments. It should show 4 digits of the bank account you paid with. Search those 4 digits (press Ctrl+F or ⌘+F on a Mac) and you should see your payments highlighted.
3) Keep clicking “show more payments” to find them all. Now perform steps 3-5 from the list above.
